It was an incredible weekend, filling me with light, love, gratitude and oneness. When I came out of the Christ Conciousness grid, I was burning up with the light I experienced in the grid. As I walked my way back to my seat, my eyes were tear-filled with an immense amount of love and gratitude that filled by heart. It was overwhelming. Several times through guided excercises by Joey, I came to a state of mind where everything was perfect. I felt no pain, no desire for anything, but a complete satisfaction on every level, where I found complete peace. It was a wonderful feeling that transcended all my needs and wants. On several occasions my body heated up when doing the spiritual exercises to allow more light to enter my physical, mental, emotional bodies. It was uncomfortably warm at those times, but I felt a cool breeze whisk across me and allowed a gentle cooling off. I would open my eyes expecting to find a door that had just opened, as there were no fans or windows in the big room. I could find no door open and no reason as to where that cool breeze had come to cool me. Since it happened 3 times, I felt it was no coincidence, but a gift from the Light.

At one point during a spiritual exercise I saw a star that burst forth with many colors as if coming from tiny holes in the star. It was beautiful and one of my many expereiences with the light brought through with Joey's loving and masterful guidance.

The light energy that Joey brings in during the intensives has heightened my awareness and sense of purpose. Working with the light has helped my focus in my daily life and has helped me to become aware of patterns in my life I want to change. Joey's lessons and exercises give me ways to bring about the changes I desire.

I met Joey about a year ago at a meditation here in Kansas City. I had retired and was looking for something to do with my time that would mean something to me and help others. Being new to the area, I did not know where to start. Meeting Joey was a bright spot in my life, literally, and the energy I felt was with me for days. In days I was called to help blind children make Christmas cookies (with a little training). While waiting for the children to show up I was approached by a lady who asked me what my dream was. I told her that I wanted to teach sewing to people who could not afford the material, a machine or classes. I wanted to make a difference. For the next few weeks I volunteered with the blind children, helping them to sew on buttons, paint, craft etc. Then through people I met there we revived the Inner-City Sewing Circle.

With lots of volunteers we were able to open on April 1, 2006. We now have several members and some teens. Why is this important? Because without the help of Joey and the light he kept sending I would not have been able to do this in such a short time. It was an awakening and remembering of my own inner self, that came through my time with Joey, that was able to bring this about. People were drawn to the ideas and together to make it work. I saw Joey several times during this last year and each time I feel more confidant and more ideas come to me to help others. My spirituality has grown by leaps and bounds. I feel younger, happier and more blessed than at any time in my life. Thank you Joey for showing me the way and helping me to live in the light

Two years ago, I saw a flyer at the library for a talk by Joey Klein at Unity in Lawrence, KS.
I was in a deep mourning period for my son, who had died suddenly four months earlier and I was midwifing my mother through her last days of her life.

It took a huge effort for me to go anywhere, to leave the sanctuary that was my home, but I just felt pushed by an unseen hand into going to this event. It was as if I could come up with many excuses, but in the end, I could not say "no."
In my prayers, I had been asking for a teacher.

At the event, I felt as if Joey were speaking directly to me. His words touched my heart in a way that I cannot explain in words, and it awakened something-- many things-- a sense of remembering, a connection with those around me, a feeling of understanding God on a new level, and a true hope that someday I might be whole again.

To be honest, I initially thought the intensive was a lot of money to spend. I had to postpone a dentist appointment to attend. I later felt like it was the bargain of a lifetime. What price can be put on peace, on love, on happiness?

Since then, I have attended many intensives given by Joey. Each one is different, and seems custom designed for me. Each one leaves me feeling a sense of deep joy, peace and energy.

When I look into Joey's eyes, I see a man who is both deeply grounded and spiritually enlightened, and who has incredible compassion and respect for his students. Joey has a Christ-like spirit, and I have appreciated his gentleness and his patient guidance.

When I look in the mirror after an intensive, my body reflects the inner changes from the weekend: I look lighter and more alive.

But more than this, I see a real change in my life. Like many in attendance, I had studied, read and meditated for years. In one weekend, I went into a deeper meditation than I had ever known, and had a real sense of something that I had only seen in a weak, shadowy form before.

After several intensives, I had a very profound breakthrough experience. I remember afterwards saying, "I THOUGHT I got it, but now I really get it." It was more beautiful than any other spiritual experience in my life and has left me hungry for more.

I am so thankful to God for sending me my teacher.

Joey's ability to facilitate and work with the energy of Light is impressive. A weekend intensive with Joey is very powerful. I could absolutely feel the Light filling me and shifting old patterns within my mind and body.
